Do you like busy restaurants and happy guests? A fun Mexican-themed restaurant in central Christchurch, New Zealand, needs four Waitstaff with experience.
Your main job is great customer service. You serve food and drinks the way the restaurant sells them. You can show your personality and have fun with the team. You also watch for what guests need and help them.
The job is full-time, with at least 30 hours each week. You will work some nights, some weekends and in the busy summer. There is regular training inside the restaurant on food, drinks and service.
Good news for overseas applicants: the restaurant is an accredited employer. It can sponsor workers on the AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa) and can help with the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and tell them about the menu
- Take orders and bring food and drinks
- Clean and set up tables again, and keep the restaurant clean
- Use the POS for orders and take cash or electronic payments
- Follow New Zealand liquor laws and help management with licence rules
- Promote products and services and finish the regular in-house training modules
- Show your personality and look after what each guest needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months of work in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge of New Zealand liquor laws
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Able to work in the busy summer months
- Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced job
- Keen to learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
