Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Selamat datang. This page is about your personal data on JobsAbroad Indonesia (jobsabroad.id). We keep the sentences short on purpose. Many of our readers use English as a second language, and privacy should be easy for everyone to follow.

Here is the main idea. Our website does not ask you to sign up. It has no forms that send your name or CV to us. Most personal data only reaches us when you decide to email us or chat with us on WhatsApp.

1. Who we are

JobsAbroad Indonesia belongs to Red Migration FZC. It is one of several job platforms that this company runs. The company office is at 108, 6th Street, Al Hamriya, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Red Migration FZC decides why and how personal data linked to jobsabroad.id is used. Under privacy law, this makes the company the "controller" of that data. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Red Migration FZC.

Questions? Write to jobs@jobsabroad.id or call +971 50 283 2394. The same number works on WhatsApp.

2. Information you give us

Job applications by email

Every job has an Apply by email button. It does not upload anything. It simply opens the email app on your own phone or laptop. A new message is ready, addressed to jobs@jobsabroad.id, with the job details filled in. You write the rest and press send yourself.

So you are in control of the content. People often send:

  • their full name, phone number and email address;
  • a CV with work history, skills and qualifications;
  • certificates or licences for their trade;
  • passport or visa details, but only if they choose to add them.

Chats on WhatsApp

The Ask on WhatsApp button opens a direct chat with our team (WhatsApp chat link). When you write to us there, we see your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and every message or file you send.

Our job alerts channel

We also post new jobs on a WhatsApp channel. You join it inside the WhatsApp app, not on our website. WhatsApp and its owner Meta run that channel under their own terms.

Our contact page shows our email, phone and WhatsApp details. It has no form to fill in.

What this means for you: we only get the details you decide to send. Nothing leaves your device until you press send.

3. Information our servers record

Some technical data is created automatically whenever a browser loads a page. Our site runs on Google Cloud, and Google Cloud writes a request log for each visit. A log line shows:

  • the IP address the request came from;
  • the browser and device type (called the user agent);
  • which page was asked for;
  • the date and time.

We look at these logs to find faults and to notice attacks. By default they are deleted after 30 days.

Our server also uses your IP address for a very short time, in memory only, to count requests. If one address sends too many requests too fast, the server slows it down. This is called rate limiting.

Searching for jobs and using filters happens inside the page and its web address. Your searches are not saved in our database.

4. Information that stays on your device

You can tap a button to save a job for later. The list of saved job numbers is kept only in your own browser, in a place called localStorage, under the name saved_jobs. Your saved jobs page reads that list on your device.

We never receive this list. If you clear the data for our site in your browser, the list is gone. It also does not follow you to another phone or browser.

5. Our staff admin area

Our team adds jobs, articles and videos through a private admin area. Staff sign in with Firebase Authentication, which is a Google service. Only staff accounts on an approved list can get in. Visitors never sign in, so this part only involves the sign-in details of our own team.

6. Why we use your information

We use the details you send for these reasons:

  • to read your application and check if you match the job;
  • to send your application and CV to the employer of the job you applied for;
  • to tell you about other jobs that may suit you, and to share your CV with other employers if you say yes;
  • to answer your questions and give you news about your application;
  • to keep the website running, safe and free from abuse;
  • to follow the law when it requires something from us.

We do not use any analytics or advertising tools on this site.

8. When we share it

Only a few groups may receive your information:

  • The employer of the job you applied for. We may forward your application and CV so they can assess you. Other employers see your details only with your agreement. Most of our employers are in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Companies that provide our tools. Google Cloud hosts the site and keeps the request logs. An email service provider handles messages sent to jobs@jobsabroad.id. WhatsApp, part of Meta, carries chats on WhatsApp.
  • Public authorities. A court, police or government body may receive information if the law requires it.

9. Sending data to other countries

Your information may be handled in more than one country:

  • our company is in the United Arab Emirates;
  • the website and its database run on Google Cloud in Singapore;
  • employers who receive applications are mostly in Australia and New Zealand;
  • our email provider, WhatsApp and Google may use servers in other places too.

Privacy laws are not the same everywhere. Where the law requires it, we take reasonable steps to protect your data when it moves abroad. We also try to send only what is needed.

10. Keeping and deleting information

Emails and WhatsApp chats about an application stay with us while we need them. That means while your application and any recruitment steps after it are in progress, plus any time the law requires. We do not use one fixed deadline, because hiring for overseas jobs can take many months.

You may ask us to delete your messages and documents at any time. We will do it where the law allows. If we must keep something, we will tell you why.

Google Cloud request logs are deleted after 30 days by default.

11. Protecting your information

We use several practical safety steps:

  • all pages use HTTPS, and browsers are told to always use it (HSTS);
  • the public cannot reach our database directly; every read and write goes through our server;
  • only approved staff accounts can open the admin area;
  • rate limiting slows down floods of requests.

Still, no website or email system is 100% safe. Please send only the documents a job really needs. Keep very sensitive papers until someone asks for them.

12. Your rights

The rights you have depend on the law that covers you. Where applicable, you may be able to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • ask us to fix data that is wrong or out of date;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • object to some uses, or ask us to limit them;
  • take back consent you gave before;
  • make a complaint to a data protection authority.

For all users

Our company is in the UAE. Where applicable, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) covers how we handle your data.

For users in Indonesia

Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) may also give you rights, where applicable. In general, these include being told how your data is used, seeing and correcting it, and asking for it to be deleted.

For users in Australia, New Zealand and other countries

Your local privacy law may give you similar rights. Tell us where you live, and we will check what applies.

13. How to use your rights

  1. Email jobs@jobsabroad.id or send a WhatsApp message to +971 50 283 2394.
  2. Say what you want, for example "please send me a copy" or "please delete my CV".
  3. Contact us from the same email address or phone number you used before. This helps us find your messages.

We may ask a simple question to confirm your identity first. This stops other people from getting your data.

14. Children

JobsAbroad Indonesia is for adults who are looking for work. It is not meant for anyone under 18. If a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

15. Other websites and services

Our pages link to sites we do not run. Examples are buildaicv.com, talenttabloid.com, WhatsApp, YouTube and government websites. Each one has its own privacy rules. Our Cookie Policy explains what Google Fonts and YouTube may see when you visit us.

16. Updates to this policy

We may edit this policy when our website or the law changes. The date at the top will always show the latest version. If we make an important change, we will make it clear on the site.
