Do you enjoy leading a restaurant team? An Italian trattoria in Cairns, Australia is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor. The restaurant is family-run and open-air. It serves home-style Italian food from breakfast to late at night, every day. It also has an interesting wine list.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the floor in service time: bookings, tables and working with the kitchen
- Set good service standards and coach the team during the shift
- Help guests pick wine and match it with food
- Teach the team about the wine list
- Close the restaurant, do the cash-up and finish the daily checklists
- Do rosters, training, stock and ordering to learn manager skills
- Remember regular guests by name and make new guests want to return
Requirements & Eligibility
- Supervisor or senior floor experience in a busy, quality restaurant (ideally 2+ years)
- Solid wine knowledge: you can talk about wine styles, regions and food pairings, and you want to keep learning
- A clear idea of great service, and you keep that standard on a big night
- A current Queensland RSA
- RMLV, or you are willing to complete it on the way to management
- You can work a seven-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
