Do you love making sushi? A Japanese izakaya-style restaurant and bar in Perth wants a new Chef and Cook. The job is full-time.
The restaurant has a new place in a big shopping centre. The team is getting bigger. The kitchen is busy, and the food is Japanese and fusion. You will also help plan the menu and check the quality of the food.
Your hours are split into two parts. Lunch is from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Dinner is from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The job pays a salary. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Make sushi and cook Japanese and fusion food at lunch and dinner
- Work as the sushi chef when needed
- Help in all parts of the kitchen as an all-rounder
- Help plan the menu
- Check food quality
- Keep high standards in a busy, high-end restaurant and talk well with your team
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year of work in a Japanese restaurant
- You have worked as a sushi chef, all-rounder chef or cook
- Strong knowledge of Japanese food and fusion food
- Can help with menu development and quality control, and has worked in high-end, high-volume restaurants
- Responsible, with excellent teamwork and communication skills
