Do you lead shifts in a bar or venue and want to grow? A pub in Sydney is hiring a full-time Duty Manager. It is a well-known local pub with many loyal regulars.
Trade is steady. The pub has a bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms. It is part of a bigger hotel group. The group cares about strong governance and clear standards, and it develops its leaders.
You will own your shifts. You will also help with front-of-house and back-of-house work. This role is good for an experienced Duty Manager. It is also good for a senior supervisor who is ready to lead more. There is a chance to move up within the group. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the shift in the bar, gaming area, functions and guest rooms
- Open and close the venue, handle cash and do reports
- Support functions, events, local marketing and promotions in the venue
- Help with orders, stock and suppliers
- Help plan rosters and keep labour efficient
- Help the venue follow RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety rules
- Coach and develop team members so service and the guest experience stay strong
Requirements & Eligibility
- You need at least 1 year as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- You have worked with gaming, TAB and KENO
- You hold current RSA, RCG and ARCG
- You show a strong leadership presence
- You have strong communication skills
- You stay calm and organised and focus on solutions
- You are comfortable balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded. Experience with functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is favourable
