Commis Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Queenstown, New Zealand · Full-Time · $28 - $29/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Are you a cook ready for a new kitchen? A hotel bar and restaurant in Queenstown, New Zealand, wants two Commis Chefs. Both jobs are permanent, with 30 hours of work each week.
The food is hearty and rustic. You will cook breakfast, make food for conferences and plate dishes neatly. You will also cook for guests who need dairy-free or gluten-free food, and you will help with HACCP food safety work.
Shifts can be late at night, at weekends and on public holidays. The team is small and close, so good teamwork matters.
You need experience in a similar job and with an à la carte menu. You also need an NZQCF Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience. The employer can potentially offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
