Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team of educators.
- Coach and help educators to run high-quality programs.
- Follow the NQF, the National Law & Regulations and the centre's policies.
- Keep improving the centre and meet the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Make friendly, trusting links with families and the community.
- Manage enrolments and occupancy so the service can last.
- Keep the centre safe, inclusive and focused on children.
- Use the Child Safe Standards and make child safety the top priority for everyone.
- Manage the overall results of the centre, including occupancy, team outcomes and regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience as a leader in early childhood education.
- A strong understanding of how the National Quality Framework works.
- Shown ability to lead a team with warmth, clarity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent skills in building relationships.
- Passion for high-quality care and education.
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent that ACECQA has approved).
- Current Working With Children Check and First Aid.
- Other relevant clearances, kept current.
- Current Child Safety and Child Protection Training.
