Are you a chef who likes a busy kitchen? A country hotel in regional Victoria, near Sale, wants a full-time chef to join its team.
Every day you will cook creative, high-quality meals. You will work fast, but you will also work carefully. The Head Chef will plan new menu items with you, and together you will make the current dishes even better.
You will also keep the kitchen clean and safe. You will help guests quickly when they ask. You will help with stock and ordering. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook creative, high-quality meals in a fast kitchen
- Plan new menu items with the Head Chef and make current dishes better
- Do all food prep and cooking quickly and to a high standard
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
- Help guests quickly and give excellent customer service
- Help with stock checks and ordering kitchen supplies
- Follow all food safety rules
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years working as a Chef/Cook in a similar hospitality setting
- Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques
- Excellent knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong time management and multitasking skills for a busy kitchen
- Able to work in a team, support a positive work culture and show a passion for high-quality meals and a better dining experience
