Do you install commercial floors? Here is a permanent, full-time job in Perth. A floor coverings business with a long history in Australia needs a Flooring Installer.
The work is on building projects across Perth and Western Australia, for Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders. Your boss on site is the Site Supervisor.
Every day, you install the type of floor you are best at. Plan first, get it right the first time and finish neatly and professionally. Teamwork matters too, because you share the site with the builder's people and other trades.
Good results mean strong quality, no delays to the programme, safe work and few defects. Overseas installers who are suitably qualified can get visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Install your best floor type: sheet vinyl, LVT or other resilient floors (also welding and coving), or carpet and carpet tiles
- Get the subfloor ready. This means grinding, patching, priming and levelling
- Check moisture and flatness before installing. Write the results down
- Use drawings and finishes schedules to plan the layout
- Measure and set out with care
- Help the builder's team and other trades keep to the programme. Look after materials on site and do not waste them
- Do your paperwork every day: timesheets, daily reports, quality checklists and photos. Always follow site safety rules, inductions and safe work method statements
Requirements & Eligibility
- You have worked in commercial flooring for at least 3 years, in Australia or another country
- You are skilled in at least one of these: subfloor preparation, laying carpet, laying vinyl
- Preferred, not required: a Certificate III in Flooring Technology or a similar floor covering trade qualification, or the same kind of qualification or experience from overseas
- You have a WA White Card or can get it before starting, and a driver's licence you can use in Australia
- You notice small details, you are reliable and you can talk clearly in English on site
