Are you a skilled ceiling installer? A Ceiling Fixer / Gypsum Board Installer is needed in Perth, WA. The job is full-time and long-term, on big commercial building sites.
Your work includes grid ceilings, plasterboard, steel stud walls and bulkheads. You read the plans, set out the work and finish it by yourself.
482 employer sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. There may also be a pathway to Australian permanent residency, but it is only a possibility.
People with commercial work experience in New Zealand are especially wanted. Other good installers can apply too.

Key Responsibilities
- Install suspended T-bar / grid ceilings
- Install plasterboard ceilings
- Install acoustic ceiling systems
- Install ceiling framing, furring channels and suspension systems
- Build steel stud walls and partitions
- Fix plasterboard / gypsum board, also fire-rated and acoustic systems
- Build bulkheads and specialist interior features
- Read plans, measure, set out and work independently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong commercial experience: ceilings, partitions, plasterboard and interior systems
- You can read and interpret plans
- You can measure and set out
- You can work independently
- Of particular interest: experience in New Zealand on hospitals, schools, apartments, offices, high-rise or major commercial projects
- Strong spoken English
- A good employment history
- At interview, you can explain clearly the work you personally completed
