Do you repair big trucks and trailers? A logistics business in Adelaide, SA needs two Diesel Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic workers. Both jobs are full-time and permanent, and the workshop team is growing.
Your job is to keep the trucks and semi-trailers safe. You service them, find faults and fix them. You also check air brakes, axles and wheel bearings, do safety checks and write short reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after big diesel trucks and semi-trailers: servicing, upkeep and repairs
- Check what is wrong with engines, wiring, brakes or suspension, then put it right
- Carry out regular servicing before problems start
- Work on trailer air brakes, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and other trailer components
- Inspect every vehicle for safety so it meets NHVR standards
- Write up each repair in the maintenance log and job report, finishing jobs on time while your workmanship stays high
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification, or one that is equivalent
- You have worked on heavy vehicles and trailers before
- You are strong at diagnostic work and fault-finding
- You know air brake systems and how to maintain trailers
- You are happy working by yourself and as one of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Having an HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
