Do you have years of experience as a car mechanic? A vehicle compliance centre in Auckland, New Zealand, is hiring. The job is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday.
The centre does compliance inspections, servicing and repairs for all kinds of vehicles. This includes WOF inspections. You will strip imported cars for inspection. You will also service cars, fix mechanical problems and collect parts from suppliers.
Computer skills are useful here. You will type invoices, WOF inspections and repair time into the system.
Please note one important point. The employer is accredited and can act as a sponsor for work visas. This is an onshore vacancy, and only applicants who already hold New Zealand citizenship or residency can apply.

Requirements & Eligibility
- At least three years of proven experience as an automotive car mechanic
- New Zealand citizenship or residency
- A New Zealand driver licence
- Strong focus on safety protocols
- Organised and proactive
- Can multitask and meet timelines
- Good communication skills; computer knowledge is an advantage
