You will care for mothers before birth, during birth and after birth. The same team stays with each woman, and this is called continuity of care. You will also manage obstetric emergencies. You will work with GP obstetricians in shared care.

Key Responsibilities
- Care for mothers before birth (antenatal care)
- Care for women during labour and birth in the birth suite (intrapartum care)
- Care for mothers after birth (postnatal care)
- Keep care continuous across every stage
- Manage obstetric emergencies with confidence
- Work with GP obstetricians in shared care and help with daily decisions in a small, supportive team
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration that is current, as a Registered Midwife and as a Registered Nurse (both are needed)
- At least 4 years of recent experience in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, plus strong clinical skills and confidence across the pregnancy-birth continuum
- Level 3 fetal surveillance qualification (support is given to attain it if needed)
- Cover letter, resume with two recent referees, and a response to the key selection criteria
