Key Responsibilities
- Be on the floor and hands-on when the venue gets busy
- Lead and motivate staff to build a skilled, engaged team, and help with onboarding, training, coaching and growth
- Plan rosters and staffing so the venue runs efficiently
- Keep track of stock, orders and inventory
- Hold high standards for cleanliness, presentation and organisation
- Handle customer complaints professionally and find practical fixes
- Watch business results, help drive sales and growth, and control costs by using venue resources responsibly
- Create a positive culture built on teamwork, accountability and respect
- Make sure workplace health and safety, food safety and operating procedures are followed
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
- Proven skill in leading and developing a hospitality team
- Experience handling the operational needs of a busy venue
- Strong communication and people skills
- A confident leadership style that is hands-on
- Able to stay organised and effective when it is busy
- Experience with rosters, coordinating staff and managing inventory
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to help reach sales and operational targets
- A relevant work history that professional references and appropriate verification can support
- Committed to keeping professional workplace and safety standards, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
