Key Responsibilities
- Fit tyres and do wheel alignments
- Service and repair brakes and clutches, and machine discs, drums and flywheels to the required standards
- Receive, check and send out automotive aftermarket products
- Put away tyres, brakes, clutches and parts in their proper places, and keep the workshop and storage areas tidy and organised
- Help the sales team with daily tasks
- Help with deliveries when needed
- Follow safety procedures and keep your work quality high
- Work on your own and keep the wider team informed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year working in a relevant automotive or mechanical role
- Hands-on automotive aftermarket experience you can demonstrate
- Practical understanding of brakes, tyres, clutches and similar components
- Wheel alignment experience is highly regarded
- Works on your own and follows instructions to the letter
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with a positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver's licence
- An Australian mechanical licence is an advantage but not mandatory
- Genuine employment history that can be verified
- Must have Australian work rights or be eligible for employer sponsorship
- Willing to commit to a long-term position in Australia
- Sponsorship available for suitable overseas candidates, and accommodation support available for eligible, committed candidates
