Each day you will be next to experienced technicians. Electric motors, pumps, generators and rotating equipment come through the workshop, so you will learn a lot. You gain local industry experience in Australia and pick up valuable mechanical and workshop skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Grow your understanding of industrial motors, pumps and generators while you work
- Give experienced tradespeople a hand with workshop jobs
- Assist with equipment preparation and repairs, including cleaning parts so they are ready to be fixed
- Strip down motors, pumps and other rotating equipment while a supervisor guides you
- Shift heavy equipment from one area of the workshop to another
- Load and unload materials and equipment, pack items and get pallets ready
- Collect and drop off items locally
- Care for the workshop tools, keep each work area neat and help with general organisation
- Stick to the safety rules and the instructions you are given
Requirements & Eligibility
- Manual driver's licence, and a forklift licence preferred
- A practical, mechanically minded person who is comfortable with tools
- Earlier mechanical or workshop experience preferred
- A background in electrical, pump, maintenance, mining or industrial environments is advantageous
- Punctual, dependable and safety conscious
- Physically capable of hands-on workshop work
- Keen to learn from experienced tradespeople
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Good at communication and working in a team, with strong skills in both
- Employment and skills history that can be verified
- Eligible for Australian sponsorship and able to meet the applicable work visa requirements
