You can judge a tiler by the finished job. This role is for experienced Wall and Floor Tilers who can prove their skills with neat, high-standard work.
The work is on homes in Queensland. You will tile whole houses and bathrooms and do detailed porcelain work. It suits tradespeople who care about precision and good finishing, and who feel confident showing their skills in a practical work trial.
Your experience will be checked on the job, so the employer can see your real ability and your professional attitude. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who meet the required skill and experience standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lay wall and floor tiles on home projects, from whole houses to bathrooms
- Install porcelain tiles to a high professional standard
- Prepare surfaces and the work area before tiling starts
- Mark out the tile layout carefully, then measure and cut each tile to fit exactly
- Keep lines straight and gaps even, with tight grout joints and clean surfaces
- Make sure the finished floor or wall is level, with no excessive lippage
- Pick the right tools and methods for each job
- Check your finished work and fix any finishing problems
- Work in a safe, tidy and efficient way, and cooperate with other trades and the project team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Solid professional experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler, including demonstrated residential tiling work
- Can complete whole-house tiling projects
- Has done bathrooms with fully tiled walls
- Strong practical knowledge of installing porcelain tiles
- Proven ability to produce finishes that are precise and consistent, with good attention to detail and quality control
- Can show practical tiling skills in a work trial and is willing to complete a practical skills assessment
- Own suitable tiling tools
- Own a reliable vehicle
- Hold a valid driver's licence
- Currently based in Australia or prepared to relocate
- Reliable and professional at work, with strong teamwork and communication skills
