Rope Access Technician

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $36.50/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Are you an experienced abseiler? A New Zealand company that maintains commercial buildings is hiring five Rope Access Technician workers. It has worked in New Zealand for over 20 years. All five jobs are permanent and full time.

The work happens in greater Auckland and in Christchurch. Staff go to the city with the most work, so you will travel a lot. Some nights you will stay away from home, and sometimes you take a short trip to another region.

You get a minimum of 70 hours a fortnight in your contract. A normal week is 40 hours. Day work is 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and night work is 6pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday. Rosters arrive about one week before. The company also trains staff and supports higher IRATA levels.

It is an accredited employer, so it can sponsor a work visa, and it asks IRATA-qualified abseilers who live overseas to contact it.

Write your CV in English and list your IRATA level first. Start your rope access CV for New Zealand today.
