Are you an experienced Roof Plumber looking for steady work? This is a full-time, long-term job in Perth, Western Australia.
You will be part of a skilled commercial roofing team. The team has ongoing projects and a supportive place to work. Most of the work is metal roofing, gutters, flashings, downpipes and wall cladding on commercial sites.
Read the requirements carefully, especially the site tickets and the tool kit. Tip: keep an English-language CV and copies of your trade papers ready before you apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Read plans and project specifications and follow them closely
- Measure and get materials ready, then cut and fit roofing parts accurately
- Install metal roofing systems and metal wall cladding on commercial jobs
- Fit flashings, box gutters and downpipes
- Check that finished work meets quality standards
- Work safely on site at all times
- Work as a team with your supervisors and co-workers
Requirements & Eligibility
- 5 or more years of relevant Roof Plumbing experience, including proven commercial metal roofing work
- White Card
- Working at Heights certification
- EWP certification, or willingness to get the required training
- Your own basic hand tool and battery tool kit
- Reliable transport
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safe, professional work
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with a team
- Sponsorship is available to eligible candidates
