Restaurant leaders, this one is for you. A premium venue in Victoria, known and well established, is hiring a Restaurant Manager to look after Front of House operations. The goal: outstanding dining and entertainment for every guest.
The venue wants a practical, hands-on manager who enjoys high-energy shifts, develops staff and owns the results of the operation. You will lead the service team, protect high standards, improve each guest's experience and play a direct part in the venue's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities
- Share ideas for the venue's growth, sustainability and long-term performance, and join management on business and operational initiatives
- Hold overall responsibility for daily venue operations and Front of House service
- Keep the team motivated so the hospitality they deliver is high quality, shift after shift
- Create a strong team culture where performance, teamwork and guest satisfaction come first
- Put professional service standards in place across the venue and maintain them
- Organise rosters, staff scheduling, reservations and the movement of guests through the venue
- Recruit the right people, manage their induction and training, and support them with ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback
- Find chances to improve service quality and operational efficiency
- Go through customer feedback and take suitable action to solve issues
- Monitor KPIs and support the venue in hitting revenue and profitability targets
- Support labour planning, stock management and cost-control initiatives, and run hospitality systems including POS and rostering platforms
- Ensure that RSA, workplace health and safety and regulatory requirements are all met
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold valid RSA certification
- You have at least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or senior Front of House professional
- Your background includes fast-paced, high-volume or premium hospitality venues, and you work effectively when things are dynamic
- You have shown you can lead, motivate and grow hospitality teams
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent
- You have a proven record in recruiting, training and retaining staff
- You know restaurant operations and customer service very well
- You are confident using POS, rostering, stock control and operational systems
- You understand cost control, labour costs, KPIs and financial performance
- A Certificate IV or higher in Hospitality is desirable, but it is not essential
- You are well organised, manage time well, make decisions with confidence and solve problems effectively
- You bring a professional, proactive and commercially aware attitude and a passion for exceptional guest experiences
