Are you a Registered Nurse who is already working in Australia? A supportive aged care organisation in Sydney NSW has an exciting opening for an experienced Registered Nurse who wants a long-term career.
This role is meant for an RN already in Australia who wants more stability and the chance to grow in a professional aged care setting. Because current Australian RN experience is required, it suits nurses who are already working onshore. 186 visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
The position is permanent and built for someone serious about staying. The successful candidate must commit to a minimum 2-year contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out resident assessments, track long-term health conditions, and respond fast if someone's condition shifts
- Write individual care plans, then put them into action and update them
- Administer medicines and treatments as clinical requirements set out
- Provide compassionate, high-quality and safe nursing care, and help residents with their continuing healthcare and wellbeing
- Write complete, correct clinical notes and records
- Collaborate closely with doctors, carers and allied health staff
- Keep residents and families informed with clear, kind communication
- Uphold dignity, independence and a good life for every resident, inside a care setting that is safe and respectful
- Meet the relevant clinical and aged care standards, plus health and safety rules at work
- Add to an upbeat, supportive team
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- You are currently working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Aged care experience is highly regarded
- Valid Australian working rights are needed, along with a current Police Check
- Your clinical skills and communication are strong
- You care for residents in a compassionate, reliable and professional way
- You work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- You have a genuine interest in building your career long-term in regional NSW, and you are willing to move to and live in the regional NSW area
- You are ready to sign up for a minimum 2-year employment contract
