Night Fill Storeman

Are you a reliable warehouse worker who is happy to work nights? A workplace in New Zealand needs a Night Fill Storeman with real warehouse experience, safe forklift skills and a strong record in handling stock.
On the overnight shift you will help with container devanning, receive incoming stock, refill inventory, keep the warehouse organised and help fill orders when needed.
The focus is on skills you can prove. Show your relevant warehouse experience, the right qualifications or licences, and a steady work history that shows you work safely and reliably. Keep copies of your licence and job references ready, with English translations where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload containers and deliveries as they arrive and handle them safely, then devan containers and set out the goods efficiently
- Receive and inspect incoming stock, check quantities, product condition and receiving documents, and process everything accurately
- Report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods or receiving problems
- Refill inventory and keep storage areas neat and well organised
- Help with picking, packing and preparing orders when required
- Drive forklifts safely, following workplace procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy, and follow every health, safety and operational requirement
- Plan your daily tasks so warehouse work runs smoothly, and work well with warehouse, logistics and other operations teams
- Adjust when priorities change and help with other warehouse duties when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant experience in stock handling, distribution, logistics or warehousing
- A current and valid forklift licence
- Employment history relevant to the role that is genuine and can be verified
- Demonstrated hands-on skills in warehouse work and forklift handling
- Strong attention to detail when you receive, store and manage inventory
- Reliable attendance and a responsible attitude to your duties at work
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Good teamwork and communication skills, and able to follow workplace procedures and instructions accurately
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety requirements
- Physically able to do warehouse work, including lifting and manual handling tasks
- MPI Accredited Person certification is advantageous
- Being familiar with MPI requirements for container handling is advantageous
- Able to meet the applicable requirements for employer-sponsored employment
