Medium Rigid MR Manual Dairy Driver

Do you like early starts and the open road? A business in Western Australia needs an experienced MR or HR driver for a regular dairy delivery route. Customers should be able to count on you every day.
You will be the trusted contact for customers on your route. From the early-morning start until the last delivery, being accurate, safe and consistent is the key. You will work on your own on the road, with training and team support to help you drive with confidence and safety.
Tip: if a police certificate is requested, apply early for your SKCK from the Indonesian National Police.
Key Responsibilities
- Help the team make deliveries more efficient and lift service standards
- Run your delivery route safely and efficiently, and keep performing well on the regular early-morning schedule
- Drive a medium rigid manual truck in line with road safety rules
- Get dairy products to customers correctly and on time
- Be friendly and professional with customers across the delivery area, and show the business in a good light
- Do pre-start checks on the vehicle and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Load, carry and unload dairy products safely, protecting them from damage
- Keep delivery records and paperwork accurate
- Follow workplace procedures, transport laws and safety rules, and sort out everyday delivery problems in the right way
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a current MR or HR driver's licence
- You have demonstrated experience driving medium rigid vehicles and a strong history of safe, responsible driving
- You are reliable and punctual
- You can manage a regular delivery route on your own
- You have strong customer service and communication skills, with a positive, professional attitude
- You can identify and solve practical problems
- You have strong attention to detail
- You are committed to workplace health and safety
- You can safely lift and handle products weighing up to 20kg
- You understand Australian road transport regulations
- You are available to work approximately 42 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, starting at 2:00am. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who meet the role requirements and are seeking a long-term Australian opportunity
