Have you run housekeeping in a busy hotel? An established hospitality business on the Gold Coast is hiring an experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager. You will own housekeeping results, coordinate the team and make sure every room is ready for guests.
The employer wants proof of your experience. Your past duties, the teams you led and how you handled a busy hotel should show this clearly. You will keep work organised, protect quality standards and work closely with hotel leaders to get steady results.

Key Responsibilities
- Build a professional team culture based on accountability, service and quality
- Run daily housekeeping operations and be responsible for how the team performs
- Plan each day's workload, give out tasks by priority, and run team briefings that make service expectations clear
- Check that rooms are ready and meet the required standards before guests arrive
- Work with hotel leadership to keep housekeeping quality high and improve it
- Look at staffing needs and organise resources when demand changes, and manage rosters and daily admin
- Keep health, safety and compliance procedures accurate, and support billing and other operational processes
- Watch housekeeping standards, deal quickly with performance issues and find practical solutions to operational problems
- Keep communication clear between housekeeping staff and hotel management
- Hand over shifts properly so operations continue without gaps
Requirements & Eligibility
- No formal qualification is required
- You have demonstrated experience managing housekeeping operations in a hotel
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping professional is highly regarded
- You can supervise, coordinate and motivate housekeeping teams, and have proven this
- You have a strong understanding of hotel room standards and what guests expect
- You can show real hands-on experience that is relevant to this position
- You have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- You are excellent at organisation and time management, and can handle competing priorities in a busy hotel
- You solve operational problems with confidence
- You understand workplace health and safety requirements and are strongly committed to compliance and professional standards
- You understand annualised budgets and operational costs
- You have a professional presentation and a service-focused attitude, and are available to work weekends and public holidays when required
