Not a desk person? An established hotel at The Entrance, on the NSW Central Coast, wants a capable, energetic Hotel Manager for a long-term role.
You will manage the property in a hands-on way. Some days you will be helping guests. Other days you will be coordinating staff, meeting contractors or sorting out maintenance problems. Every day is different.
Strong English communication matters in this role. If your hotel experience is from Indonesia or elsewhere, describe it clearly on an English-language CV.
Key Responsibilities
- Look after the day-to-day running of the hotel and its ongoing performance
- Help guests directly and give them support
- Organise staff, contractors and service providers, and handle communication with suppliers and outside organisations
- Act fast when operational problems come up
- Make sure jobs are done efficiently and well
- Help with minor maintenance and property issues, troubleshoot faults and book repairs where needed
- Keep the hotel safe, tidy and welcoming
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong English communication skills
- Previous experience in management, or proven management capability
- Experience in hospitality or accommodation is advantageous
- A hands-on, practical way of working, with strong leadership and coordination skills
- Excellent at solving problems
- Confident making decisions and working on your own
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are highly regarded
- Adapts easily when situations change
- Interested in building a long-term career
- Willing to relocate within NSW
- Visa sponsorship is on offer for suitable eligible candidates
