Like working on many kinds of vehicles? This Perth-based role puts your heavy vehicle skills to use across a varied fleet in Western Australia.
You will service and repair buses, coaches, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes and small plant. The job suits qualified mechanics who are confident finding faults, doing repairs and keeping vehicles at a high professional standard.
Good to know:
- Both FIFO and residential options are available
- 482 visa sponsorship is offered for eligible candidates

Key Responsibilities
- Look after a mixed heavy vehicle fleet through regular servicing and preventative maintenance programs
- Check vehicles and work out what maintenance they need
- Find the cause of mechanical faults and choose the right repair
- Fix mechanical problems and replace parts on diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems
- Help when vehicles break down and with maintenance out in the field
- Finish your workshop and maintenance jobs quickly and safely, to a high standard of workmanship, following all operational, safety and compliance procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or Bus Mechanic
- Relevant work on heavy vehicles or commercial fleets
- Has worked on buses, coaches, trucks or similar equipment
- Good at mechanical diagnosis and finding faults
- Happy to work on many different kinds of vehicles
- Able to work in regional and remote WA locations
- Dependable, adaptable and careful about safety
- Current driver's licence, with HR desirable
- Able to pass pre-employment medical checks and drug and alcohol screening
