Key Responsibilities
- Offer professional cuts, styling and colour services, with consistent, high-quality results across every hair service
- Ask clients what style and colour they like and what else they need
- Check the condition of the hair and suggest suitable styling and colour
- Use modern colouring techniques with care and attention to detail
- Build good relationships with clients and keep them happy
- Keep your personal presentation sharp and the salon professional, organised, clean and welcoming
- Work well with the other experienced professionals in the salon
- Join salon training, keep developing your skills, and follow current hair trends, techniques and industry practices
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years working as a qualified hairdresser in a professional role
- Proven, hands-on salon experience that you can verify with appropriate employment evidence, and a consistent professional work history you can demonstrate
- Strong practical skills in cutting, styling and modern colouring
- Confident running professional client consultations
- A relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and approachable, and committed to quality work
- Willing to take part in ongoing training and professional development
- Able to commit for at least 5 months or longer, with flexible availability and the potential to move from part-time to full-time
- Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship
