Key Responsibilities
- Chat with clients to find out the style they hope for and what their hair needs
- Look at each person's needs and recommend what will work best
- Cut and style hair, and deliver a full range of professional hairdressing services
- Apply colour and carry out other suitable salon treatments
- Produce high-quality technical work and stick to the salon's procedures and service rules
- Treat every client with consistent, personal care
- Build your knowledge of new techniques, products and trends through training and education
- Cooperate with the whole salon team
- Join creative projects, photoshoots and fashion work
- Look professional and protect the salon's standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate III in Hairdressing, or a recognised equivalent qualification
- Professional hairdressing experience that you can demonstrate
- Practical work history as a Hairdresser, Stylist and/or Colourist
- Genuine hands-on technical skills that you are able to show
- Knowledge of today's hairdressing and colouring methods
- Strong skills in client consultation and communication
- A professional, customer-focused way of working
- Works efficiently when the salon is busy
- A positive mindset and happy to keep learning
- Evidence to support your qualifications and work history; your relevant experience must be verifiable through suitable employment documents
- Applicants who need sponsorship must satisfy the relevant sponsorship and visa eligibility rules
