Key Responsibilities
- Talk with each client first, then suggest the styles and treatments that suit them
- Give professional hairdressing and styling services that match what each person needs
- Use your technical knowledge for quality finishes and steady results in cutting, colouring, styling and other services
- Give reliable, personal service so clients come back, and grow your own client following
- Stay professional during every appointment
- Help the salon reach its targets while keeping service quality high
- Keep learning about current techniques, products and trends, and suggest suitable professional haircare products
- Keep the salon workspace clean, organised and welcoming
- Work on your own and also support the salon team
- Join training sessions and keep developing professionally
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience working as a Hairdresser or Stylist
- Strong practical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Genuine, verifiable industry experience that you can demonstrate, plus evidence that supports your previous professional experience
- Confidence in client consultation and styling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to quality and to client satisfaction
- You can work independently and in a team
- Reliable, well-organised and professionally presented
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the willingness to learn and adapt as industry trends change
- A relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience
- Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship
