Formwork Carpenter

Key Responsibilities
- Study the drawings, plans and specifications for each project
- Set out formwork, measuring and marking it accurately
- Construct formwork for concrete work, then assemble, place and fix it securely
- Work with different formwork systems and building methods
- Inspect finished formwork to confirm it is accurate, aligned, level and stable
- Handle power tools and hand tools safely
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on live sites
- Help the wider site crew keep the project on schedule
- Get your allocated tasks done efficiently, at the quality standard required
- Always follow workplace health and safety procedures and keep your work area safe and tidy
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of formwork carpentry experience that can be proven
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of formwork systems
- Strong knowledge of the techniques used in formwork construction
- Able to read construction drawings and specifications and work to them
- Valid White Card
- A proven record of productive work in established site crews
- Professional and reliable at work, with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to handle the physical demands of a construction environment
- Sponsorship may be considered for eligible onshore candidates who perform at a high level
