Formwork Carpenter

Is formwork your trade? A construction team in Western Australia, based around Perth, needs an experienced Formwork Carpenter. Your industry experience should be proven and verifiable, and you should care about quality workmanship.
The team wants a carpenter with real hands-on ability who adapts easily to new projects and different sites. You will do formwork and general carpentry, side by side with an experienced construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, put together and strip formwork structures on different construction projects
- Read construction drawings, plans and specifications, then measure, mark, cut and fit materials accurately
- Take on general carpentry and building tasks as required
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Check your finished work for quality and accuracy
- Follow site safety procedures and construction requirements, and keep your work area clean and tidy
- Work on your own or with the construction crew
- Move between project sites when required, adapting to different site conditions and project needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated work as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter, with genuine, verifiable construction industry experience on active sites
- A relevant carpentry qualification or recognised trade certification is preferred
- White Card
- A current driver's licence is preferred, and you need reliable transport
- Your own hand and power tools
- Can work independently, with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail
- Happy to travel between construction sites and to work in regional areas where required
- Able to satisfy the employment and sponsorship requirements that apply
- Sponsorship is on offer for the right candidate
