Do you enjoy helping young children learn? A well-established early learning centre in Victoria is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher / Early Childhood Educator in Melbourne. The job is full-time and permanent.
You will teach and care for children from babies up to kindergarten age. The team is supportive and works closely together. Your part is to create fun, engaging learning experiences that help each child develop.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and run learning programs that keep children interested
- Give quality education and care that follows the approved frameworks
- Help each child grow socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively, and look after their learning, development and wellbeing
- Watch, assess and record how children are progressing, and keep records and learning documents accurate
- Make the room safe, inclusive, caring, clean and welcoming
- Guide behaviour in a positive way and use inclusive practices
- Build good relationships with children, families and co-workers
- Work as a team with other educators and the centre's leaders
- Follow Early Childhood Education regulations and centre policies
- Help with continuous quality improvement
- Join team meetings and professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA
- Minimum 12 months working in an early childhood education setting
- A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to get one
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and an understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Strong understanding of modern early childhood education practices
- Excellent communication and people skills, and able to work well in a team
- A passion for helping children learn and develop
- Strong organisation and time management
- Committed to giving high-quality education and care
