Do you enjoy cooking breakfast? A hospitality business in New South Wales is growing fast, and it needs a Cook for its busy breakfast and brunch kitchen in Mudgee.
In this hands-on job you take charge of your cooking during service. Every dish should taste and look the same each time, and the kitchen has set systems for you to follow. The employer wants to see real cooking skill, reliability and the discipline to keep standards high on a busy day.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook Australian breakfast and brunch favourites, sticking to the set recipes and specifications every time
- Handle your cooking during service with very little supervision
- Get the daily prep and mise en place done as the kitchen needs it
- Keep each plate right on quality, presentation and portion size
- Work by the kitchen's procedures and operating systems
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and food-safe
- Move quickly with the team when service gets busy, and talk clearly with them the whole time
- Take feedback on board and make the changes you are asked to make
- Help out on weekends and public holidays when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial kitchen experience as a Cook that you can demonstrate
- Hands-on experience cooking breakfast and brunch-style dishes
- Confidence to work on your own during service
- A proven record of following recipes and set kitchen systems
- A steady, consistent approach to food prep and quality standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional, and able to stay calm and organised when the kitchen is fast-paced
- Willing to follow workplace procedures and take constructive feedback
- Available to work weekends and public holidays
- Relevant work experience backed by suitable employment evidence; eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship
