Your experience, qualifications and work background should match what the role needs. It suits someone ready to take more ownership of client relationships and business results.
The firm works in a fresh way. There are no traditional timesheets, and clients pay through a monthly subscription model. So you can spend your time on real client work, not on billable hours.
You will manage an established portfolio and work closely with business owners, giving practical advice on financial performance, planning, cash flow, forecasting and tax.
Tip: if your degree or certificates are in Indonesian, have them translated into English as the visa rules require.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a reliable, professional adviser for an established portfolio of business clients and their ongoing needs
- Build strong relationships with business owners that last for the long term
- Give practical business advice with a commercial focus
- Look at clients' financial information, talk with them about how the business is doing, and point out opportunities, risks and ways to improve
- Help clients plan their business and make strategic decisions
- Support cash flow management and financial forecasts
- Give advice on tax and accounting matters, and oversee accounting and taxation compliance
- Work with the team to deliver accurate, high-quality results for clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds a CA or CPA qualification and has a minimum 3–5 years working in public practice accounting
- Demonstrated experience managing business clients and advising them
- Strong capability in client relationship management and business advisory
- An excellent communicator who earns trust and credibility, and feels confident dealing directly with business owners and key decision-makers
- Strong commercial awareness; solves problems in a practical way
- Sound knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance requirements
- Your professional background and qualifications can be verified so the employer can consider them
- Australian work experience will be highly regarded
- Sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates who have the right experience and verified credentials
