Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of your own hot section from the start of service to the end
- Do the prep and mise en place before service begins
- Cook pasta dishes to a steady, professional standard
- Keep each plate right for quality, look and portion size
- Keep your station clean, tidy and ready for service
- Stay calm and quick when service is fast and the volume is high
- Work with the senior chefs on kitchen standards, and help junior cooks with tips and hands-on support
- Share your ideas for new dishes, better prep methods and menu changes
- Follow the rules for food safety, hygiene and the workplace, and help keep the kitchen friendly and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional work as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position
- Strong practical experience preparing and serving pasta
- Able to run a busy kitchen section on your own
- Practical skills and a work history that can be verified
- A strong understanding of how a professional kitchen runs, and the ability to keep standards steady in busy service
- Organised, reliable and self-motivated
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A professional attitude and a willingness to take responsibility
- Able to meet the relevant visa and sponsorship requirements
