Do you have real experience in busy professional kitchens? This Chef de Partie role needs someone who can show genuine kitchen experience and help with confidence during high-volume service.
You will join a skilled culinary team and work with an experienced Executive Chef. You can use what you already know, learn more kitchen sections and keep developing as a professional. Practical skill, consistency and teamwork are important here.
The roster is 4 days on, 3 days off. This gives you a clear working pattern and a healthy work-life balance. Prepare an English-language CV that lists the kitchens you have worked in.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook dishes that follow the kitchen's established standards
- Move between different kitchen sections with confidence
- Keep flavour, presentation and food quality the same on every plate
- Help with prep and service when trading is busy, and handle competing tasks efficiently
- Keep your prep and service routines accurate
- Work well with the kitchen team and talk clearly with chefs and other staff
- Follow hygiene, food safety and workplace procedures, and keep workstations and prep areas clean and tidy
- Keep presentation standards high in the open kitchen
- Help the kitchen stay respectful, efficient and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Between 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience in pubs, hotels or restaurants
- Real hands-on experience in multiple kitchen sections
- Able to demonstrate relevant work experience and practical cooking skills
- Strong knowledge of how professional kitchens operate
- Keeps standards high in busy service periods, and can multitask and work well under pressure
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Punctual and reliable, with strong attention to detail
- High personal hygiene standards and professional presentation
- Available to work late-night shifts
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong commitment to quality and continuous professional development
- Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates whose skills and experience meet what the role requires
