Do you lay carpet and want steady work? A friendly family flooring business in Auckland is hiring an experienced Carpet Layer. They want someone to stay a long time.
This business is an accredited employer. It can support workers from overseas with sponsorship for the AEWV, a New Zealand work visa.
Each morning you go to the same base. Then you lay carpet at houses and at business places. Some jobs are for a sister shop. You prepare the floor, take up old carpet and make a clean finish. You work Monday to Friday. You also work a couple of Saturdays every month. There is an apprentice on the team, and you will help them learn.

Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years' work as a carpet layer
- Good skill with textured and wool carpets
- Can do floor prep, uplift and installs to industry and manufacturer standards
- Makes a high standard of finish and is proud of the work
- Reliable, organised and can run own jobs
- Polite and professional with customers in their homes
- Happy to mentor and support an apprentice
- Free to work a couple of Saturdays a month and has a Full NZ driver licence
