Do you enjoy a mix of carpentry jobs? A construction and renovation business in Western Australia is hiring an experienced Carpenter and Cabinetmaker with a wide range of practical skills. Your finished work should show real experience in many areas of carpentry, not just one.
You will work on renovations, installations, fit-outs and maintenance in different settings. The team wants someone dependable and organised, who owns their work and works well with other trades. Being keen to learn, improve and try new challenges is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Help projects run efficiently and keep improving how work gets done
- Do carpentry on home and commercial renovation projects, including bathroom renovations and refurbishments
- Install kitchens and complete cabinetry projects, measuring, cutting, assembling and fitting cabinets and timber parts
- Complete fit-outs for homes and businesses
- Handle general carpentry and building maintenance, plus roofing-related carpentry tasks
- Build and install fences and other outdoor structures
- Read plans, drawings and measurements, and choose the right materials, tools and methods for each job
- Work in with other trades and the project team
- Manage your own jobs and meet the agreed project requirements
- Find problems on site and fix them in practical ways
- Deliver neat, accurate work with a high-quality finish
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas tidy and safe, and follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Behave professionally on customer and commercial sites, and adapt to different projects and changing needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Full Australian driver's licence and your own carpentry tools
- Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience after your apprenticeship
- Proven, practical experience in many different areas of carpentry
- Strong experience in cabinetmaking and installing kitchens
- Experience with commercial and domestic fit-outs
- Experience in roofing and fencing will be highly regarded
- You can show genuine hands-on trade experience
- You are confident working on your own without constant supervision, and you work well with other trades and contractors
- Strong planning and organisation skills, good problem-solving and attention to detail
- A reliable, motivated and professional approach, and a willingness to upskill and grow your trade skills
- You can pass a drug and alcohol test
- Valid Australian work rights, or eligibility for an appropriate sponsored visa
