Are you a skilled barber who wants more than just another chair? An established barbering team in Queensland is looking for an accomplished Barber with a minimum of 3 years' professional experience.
You will serve many different clients and give them professional results every time. The team wants real industry experience, strong technical skills and confidence. This role is for someone who wants to keep growing. You can join ongoing training and professional development, get recognition for good performance, and move into senior, supervisory or management work as your skills grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Give men's haircuts, skin fades and taper fades, plus beard trims, styling and grooming
- Ask each client what they want and suggest a look that suits them
- Keep every cut at the same professional quality and standard
- Welcome each client in a friendly, professional way so they come back to you again
- Get your tools, equipment and station ready, and keep them clean and in good condition
- Respect the hygiene, health and safety rules of the workplace, and always look neat and professional yourself
- Support the other barbers and the team as a whole
- Take part in coaching, training and skills development, and use new techniques and trends in your daily cuts
- Aim for the performance and service targets you agree on
- Suggest ideas and back projects that give clients a better experience
- Build leadership skills, accept more responsibility when the time is right, and help keep the shop positive, respectful and high-performing
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years working as a professional barber
- Hands-on work in a commercial barbershop that you can demonstrate
- Strong technical skill with fades, men's haircuts, beard grooming and styling
- Genuine barbering experience that can be checked and verified
- A relevant employment history that supports your professional experience
- Solid knowledge of client service and professional barbering standards
- Good people and communication skills
- Neat, professional presentation and a careful eye for detail
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to working with your team
- Responsible and reliable in the way you work
- Happy to keep training and building your skills
- Can adapt to what different clients like and to current barbering trends
- A real wish to move forward in the barbering industry
- Can meet the applicable Australian employment requirements; eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship based on skills, experience and suitability
