Key Responsibilities
- Ask each client how they like their hair and what they need before you start
- Give clients high-quality cuts, styling and grooming
- Cut fades and tapers, and do classic cuts and modern styles too
- Trim and shape beards, and offer beard grooming
- Use your barbering tools and equipment in a safe, effective way, and clean and maintain them
- Be precise and consistent, and pay attention to detail in every service
- Greet every client warmly and serve them professionally
- Keep your station clean, sanitised and organised, and follow hygiene, safety and professional standards
- Stay up to date with new barbering styles, techniques and what customers prefer
- Move clients through their services efficiently when the shop is busy, and work well with the other barbers
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience working as a Barber
- Strong practical knowledge of men's grooming and barbering
- Hands-on experience in a professional barbering environment that you can demonstrate
- You can do a broad range of barbering services, both traditional and modern
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Good skills in communication and client service
- A positive attitude and a professional appearance
- Reliable and responsible at work
- You can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in a team
- Available for full-time and part-time work; immediate availability is advantageous
- Sponsorship available for suitable eligible candidates
