Are European cars your speciality? This full-time job is in a South Australian workshop that keeps growing. They need a skilled Motor Mechanic – European Vehicle Specialist.
You should have solid experience and feel at home with advanced European systems. Tricky electrical or mechanical problems should not scare you. Your days will mix diagnostic work, services, repairs and planned maintenance, helped by up-to-date diagnostic gear and each brand's own technical information.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after European vehicles: services, diagnosis and repairs
- Track down difficult faults, whether mechanical or electrical
- Work on engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension, keeping them in good order and repairing them
- Test electrical and electronic systems using specialised scan tools and computerised diagnostic gear, and solve the faults you find
- Make sense of fault codes, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and each manufacturer's specifications
- Strip down engines, transmissions and other components to check their condition
- Swap out or fix any component that is damaged, worn or defective
- Complete scheduled services and preventative maintenance, such as changing oil, filters and fluids
- Handle brake work, tune-ups and general mechanical repair jobs
- Rebuild systems and components after a repair, then confirm they run safely and correctly with testing, a road test and a final quality inspection
- Write accurate records of every service, repair and diagnostic job
- Stick to the workshop's safety procedures and deliver high-quality workmanship every time
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised trade qualification in automotive work, or an equivalent
- Minimum 3 years working professionally as a Motor Mechanic in a relevant role
- Hands-on European vehicle work you can prove; time on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo, Land Rover, Range Rover or similar brands is highly regarded
- Good at fault-finding and diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems
- Comfortable with scan tools and computerised automotive diagnostic equipment
- Confident to diagnose and fix vehicle faults by yourself
- Able to follow manufacturer procedures, technical documentation and wiring diagrams, with good English communication skills
- Current driver's licence and a commitment to working full-time in South Australia
- You must meet the applicable requirements to be considered for an employer-sponsored visa
