Key Responsibilities
- Run electrical diagnostics on heavy mobile equipment, then trace and resolve complex electrical and electronic faults and finish the repairs
- Use strong troubleshooting to keep equipment downtime as low as possible
- Carry out scheduled servicing programs and preventative maintenance
- Maintain and fix air conditioning systems in vehicles
- Inspect how machines perform and recommend technical solutions
- Complete all maintenance work in line with Australia's workplace safety standards
- Record every service and repair accurately in the documentation
- Provide dependable field service support with a high level of professionalism
- Help the team lift service quality and run operations more efficiently
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Auto Electrician holding trade certification that is recognised
- Verifiable employment history and trade experience are a must for all applicants
- Practical experience you can show with mobile plant, heavy vehicles or mining equipment
- Strong experience in diagnostic processes and electrical fault finding
- You can read and interpret technical information and electrical diagrams
- Air conditioning systems experience preferred
- Current driver's licence
- Able to satisfy the required site medical and workplace requirements
- Good communication in English, for reporting and for safety at work
- Effective on your own and as part of a team, and committed to high-quality workmanship and safe work practices
