AP/MPI Certified Warehouse Person

Are you an AP Holder with MPI certification? A long-term job is open in Wiri, Auckland, New Zealand. The employer needs a current AP Holder / MPI Certified professional to look after container devanning.
Your main task is easy to explain. Every container must be unloaded safely, efficiently and in line with MPI requirements. But this is more than a normal warehouse job. You will handle MPI compliance, watch over operations and complete documentation. You will also help unload containers yourself.
The role suits someone who likes to stay busy on the floor each day and who takes ownership of standards. Before you apply from Indonesia, get your certificates and work references translated into English where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the container devanning and unloading work each day
- Make sure every MPI requirement and procedure is followed correctly, and keep the unloading compliant from start to finish
- Fill in MPI documentation, inspection records and other required paperwork, and keep all records accurate
- Help with unloading, handling and moving goods
- Track how containers are processed so operational deadlines are met
- Notice compliance, safety or operational problems and report them
- Work closely with other warehouse and container handling staff
- Follow the site's health and safety procedures at all times, and help keep the workplace organised, efficient and productive
- Take on other warehouse tasks when operations need extra help
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a current, valid AP/MPI Certification
- Previous experience in warehouse work, container handling or devanning
- Practical knowledge of MPI procedures and requirements
- Physically fit, able to do regular manual lifting, and comfortable in hands-on operational work
- Reliable, with excellent punctuality and attendance
- You work efficiently in a team and have a strong understanding of workplace deadlines and timeframes
- You follow instructions and compliance procedures accurately
- Committed to keeping strict health and safety standards
- Available for early morning starts and full working days
- Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship
